What a strong and compelling expression! Having grown up in the wild Cedar Breaks of Wyoming, I have come to know the wind-and-storm-twisted trees, which are often so small as to seem human-scaled. To me each is as much an individual character as a person, and when I draw them I feel I'm making a portrait. This stunning painting expresses the same awe and love for such an enduring and wise spirit. Outstanding! fav
