I live in Sweden in a little village near Gothenburg. When I was 40 I left my job as a child psychologist and teacher, and went to art school where I learned graphic art (etchings and such) for four years. Besides that I have worked much with textile collages and watercolor collages. After buying my first computer more than thirty years ago, I more and more concentrated on digital art. Now the computer takes all my time . I have no education in computer art. I am self-taught. I work in PaintShopPro and sometimes Photoshop. I work mostly from photos, mine and others. Since I became an FAA member more than 4 years ago, I have been to thousands of artists' galleries on FAA. There are only a handful of galleries, INCLUDING YOURS in which I can truly lose myself and find myself at the same time. That is the highest compliment I can pay any artist. If you feel about art as I do, you know exactly what that means. Losing and finding yourself in art is one of the most sublime and divine human experiences. It is something you can only experience. It is NOT something that can be taught. You won't find it in books, schools, religion, science, logic, philosophy, or anywhere else. It is the kind of knowledge that exists in your soul only.
