Description
This is a sculpture I carved of a dried juniper branch some summers ago. I have mounted it on a wooden plate, hanging out a bit to show the jump.
I was so obsessed with carving that summer that I ruined my wrist for a long time, so I had to stop.
The gnarled juniper branches invite you to find what a character that lives inside it and wants to be carved out.
